We didn’t start in a fancy studio. We started in the barrios — breaking limits, and crafting our future with concrete, iron, and raw intention. Bad Dog was born from the real — not the weak or soft — and that’s what lives in every piece we produce.
We make clothes for those who carry their history on their shoulders — with pride.
Our gear isn’t for the polished. It’s for the bold that don't give a shit about lame opinions. For the ones who train, hustle, and walk with purpose because they’ve earned every step. Every collection speaks for those who were told to stay quiet. It’s armor for the underdog. A uniform for the misunderstood. The mark of the rebels. A brand built on roots — and built to rise.

Since childhood, Ezra is the true embodiment of a true fighter, making his way from the ground up. Certified Personal Coach, Nutritionist and Professional Body Builder

MAX (THE BRAIN)
Following his own path as Graphic designer, trained cook and avid traveler. Max has a background in Digital Marketing and for over 10 Years built a career working in Marketing Agencies, Max leads the strategies behind the brand.
how it began
bad dog STORY
Every brand has a beginning.
Ours started with cement weights, and a Pitbull Spirit; the will to never give up.
Reparto Shick, Managua, Nicaragua.
Tucked away in a tough, gritty neighborhood often dismissed by the rest of the city, two childhood friends, Ezra and Max even though being raised a bit different, forged a strong brothers-like bond.
Playing Soccer, breakdance and running with a Pack of Pitbulls, bred by Max's family, dogs were misunderstood by the world — seen as dangerous, but beneath the tough exterior, they were full of love, loyalty, and heart, they were much like the boys themselves. Specially Ezra, had a fire inside him that only those who have faced real adversity could understand. He was tough, loyal, a little wild — but determined like no other.
Fast forward to 20 years ago.
Max had just started working night shifts while studying by day. His family had moved away to the outskirts, and Max found himself living alone in their old house back in the old neighborhood — a place that hadn’t gotten any safer with time. Every night, without fail, Ezra would be there, waiting at the door to make sure his friend got home safely and just catch up.
It was during one of those late-night conversations — half-joking, half-dreaming — that the spark was lit. “What if we built a gym?” Ezra said.
At first, it seemed like just another wild idea, but Ezra had something more: passion, vision, and a deep belief that they could build something for their community — something better. Max, with a small income and no major expenses, decided to bet on that dream.
Their "gym" started with nothing, but an old house, a homemade bench press built from a few cement-filled milk cans, blocks, and a wooden plank. It was laughably humble, but it was real.
Soon, word spread across the neighborhood. Friends started coming. Then friends of friends. Music blasted from an old cassette player.
Bad Dog Gym (name inspired by those fierce companions) became more than a gym — it became a movement.
In an unforgettable moment of grassroots brilliance, Ezra organized the very first neighborhood bodybuilding competition.
It wasn't flashy. There were no corporate sponsors. The "athletes" were just tough kids from the barrio, but they stood proud, muscles flexed, trophies gleaming under the makeshift stage lights. It was pure, raw, and "cool".
What started as a joke became a platform. Several of those same kids, including Ezra himself, went on to compete — and win — in official national bodybuilding tournaments. Against all odds, against all expectations. no sponsors, no fancy supplements, no proper gear, JUST GRIT!
Today, Bad Dog stands at the edge of its next great evolution.
It’s been nearly two decades of grinding, failing, rising, and refusing to quit. Bad Dog was never about shortcuts or shiny gear — it was built on grit, loyalty, and showing up even when no one’s watching. We’ve lived through the struggle, and we wear it with pride.
This brand was born from that journey — from every sleepless night, every homemade weight, every moment we were told we wouldn’t make it.
We created Bad Dog to represent us — and to represent you, The fighters. The real ones. The ones who keep going no matter what.
Bad Dog is as tough as you are. As real as your story. And we’re just getting started.
